Thank you for visiting the Clare Wayman Occupational Therapy website.
I am an independent Occupational Therapist based in Knaresborough near Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
I work with adults who have conditions or injuries which require help to return to every day tasks and activities they want or need to do. I have specialist experience in neurological rehabilitation, but can also support those with orthopaedic injuries or rheumatological conditions.
I enjoy working closely with multi-disciplinary teams in order to provide the best support for client's needs, often working collaboratively with other disciplines.

I am a paid member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
I am DBS checked and register for the update service.
I have maintained continuous HCPC registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist since registering in 2014.
Assessment
As an Occupational Therapist I will assess you in the most appropriate environment for you, whether this be at home, at work, or in the community.
Occupational Therapy considers your physical as well as cognitive needs, assessing the whole person.
Rehabilitation
I will then work collaboratively with you to establish your needs and goals, developing a treatment plan to achieve what you want out of rehabilitation. This can vary from being able to brush your teeth to planning the trip of a lifetime.
